Close shaves up the Amazon

In 1975, Geoff was working at the Wilkinson Match group headquarters in London. Much to his surprise, one morning he was asked to lead a project to build a new razor blade factory in Manaus, Brazil. He accepted the challenge, and the next three years were quite exciting. The experience of being ''up the Amazon'' was most interesting, as was the building and start-up of a new factory. He still doesn't like crocodiles, mosquitoes, snakes, ants and other biting animals.
